Role Overview

The QA Automation Engineer will act as a Testing Specialist for assigned projects, providing high-quality automation solutions, ensuring end-to-end testing coverage, and delivering robust, scalable automation frameworks. The role also includes offering technology consulting to customers and internal teams, along with mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute automation testing for assigned projects.
• Provide technology consulting to project teams and clients.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium & Core Java.
• Conduct API automation using Rest Assured and BDD frameworks (Cucumber/JBehave).
• Plan, design, and execute test scenarios across all stages of testing.
• Manage defects, create reports, and ensure smooth delivery cycles.

Skills and Qualifications

• 4–8 years of automation experience in Selenium & Core Java (minimum 4–5 years in Java).
• At least 3 years of hands-on API automation (Rest Assured).
• 2–3 years of experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber/JBehave/Maven).
• Proficiency with Selenium WebDriver.
• Strong knowledge of XML, JSON, SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins and JIRA.
• Proven end-to-end testing experience.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience mentoring or leading QA teams.
• Exposure to large-scale digital transformation environments.
