Role Overview
The People Science & Analytics team at Roblox partners with the People, Places, & Systems group to optimize the full employee lifecycle—from hiring and evaluation to learning, development, and well-being. In this role, you will support applied research projects, data collection, assessments, and validation studies, contributing to the design and execution of people programs. This position is ideal for candidates beginning a career in behavioral or organizational science who are eager to learn in a research-driven, high-impact environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with applied research projects focused on employee experience, assessment, job analysis, and organizational effectiveness.
- Collect, organize, and clean data from surveys, interviews, and other sources to support research accuracy and rigor.
- Support qualitative research activities such as interviews, focus groups, coding open-ended responses, and documenting feedback.
- Help evaluate assessments, surveys, and pilot initiatives by contributing to review and validation processes.
- Research and summarize academic or applied literature to inform program development and decision-making.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with People Scientists, engineers, and data specialists.
- Continuously expand skills in behavioral science, applied research, and people analytics.
Skills and Qualifications
- Psychology, Behavioral Science, Cognitive Science, Sociology, Organizational Behavior, Learning Science, Business, HR, Economics, or similar human-behavior-focused field.
- Basic understanding of quantitative and qualitative research methodology.
- Familiarity with job analysis, surveys, performance measurement, or program evaluation.
- Comfort working with data, spreadsheets, and analytical tools, or interest in learning them.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Organized communication style with the ability to collaborate in cross-functional settings.
- Curiosity, adaptability, and a growth mindset are aligned with a fast-paced tech environment.
