Role Overview:
As a Technical Program Manager (TPM) at Grab, you will lead the planning and execution of complex, cross-functional programs that connect technology with operational excellence. You'll partner with both technical and business stakeholders to drive the roadmap, enhance user experiences, and ensure the successful and timely delivery of features. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
You will report directly to the Lead Technical Program Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead roadmap planning and prioritization efforts in collaboration with Product, Engineering, QA, Analytics, and Design teams
- Navigate and resolve complex technical and business challenges
- Own and execute delivery of large, cross-organizational programs
- Facilitate technical discussions and remove roadblocks to ensure progress
- Collaborate with fellow TPMs to manage timelines, track milestones, and align stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices
- Manage cross-functional communications and resolve executive-level escalations effectively
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong technical background with the ability to understand software architecture and systems design
- Proficient in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Asana)
- Deep knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to influence across various levels of the organization
- An analytical and data-driven mindset for decision-making and process optimization
- Prior experience in a fast-paced tech company or startup is a plus
