- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in HCI, Cognitive Psychology, Design, Behavioral Science, or related field.
- 3–5 years of UX research experience in digital-first or product-driven organizations.
Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate UX Researcher to lead research initiatives and uncover deep customer insights across Bajaj Finserv’s digital ecosystem. The ideal candidate will design and execute mixed-methods research, translate findings into actionable frameworks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive usability, adoption, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead user research initiatives across Bajaj Finserv’s digital platforms (apps, web, self-service).
- Design and conduct usability tests, surveys, field studies, diary studies, and interviews.
- Translate insights into personas, journey maps, and experience frameworks.
- Collaborate with designers, PMs, and engineers to embed insights into product roadmaps.
- Evaluate digital journeys (onboarding, loans, payments, support flows) to recommend usability and conversion improvements.
- Apply qualitative + quantitative methods and partner with analytics teams for validation.
- Communicate insights via compelling reports, presentations, and storytelling.
- Establish research best practices, processes, and repositories.
Skills and Qualifications
Core Skills
- Strong expertise in usability testing, contextual inquiry, surveys, interviews, heuristic evaluations, and A/B testing.
- Experience with research and analytics tools (Dovetail, Maze, Lookback, Optimal Workshop, UserTesting, GA, Mixpanel, Amplitude).
- Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience in BFSI, fintech, or large-scale B2C products.
- Familiarity with UX design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch).
- Knowledge of financial services workflows (KYC, lending, payments).
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
