Eligibility

• 4–6 years of experience designing digital products (preferably in startups or fast-paced product teams)
• Formal education in design (B.Des, M.Des, or equivalent)
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UX/UI design expertise across mobile and web
• Proven ability to own the end-to-end design process and work in high-ambiguity environments

Role Overview

As a Product Designer / Lead Product Designer, you will be responsible for shaping the design of multiple idea-stage and early-stage startup products. You’ll collaborate directly with founders, product managers, and engineers to translate early concepts into usable, delightful digital products. You will set the design standards, establish scalable design systems, and ensure every launch is grounded in user-centric design principles. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of design, product strategy, and venture building.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design process—research, ideation, prototyping, UI, and developer handoff
• Collaborate with founders, PMs, and engineers to co-create product vision & strategy
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform product direction
• Design wireframes, flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI for web and mobile
• Build and maintain design systems and visual guidelines for scalability
• Rapidly iterate on designs based on user and stakeholder feedback
• Support venture pitches with compelling visuals, prototypes, and product storytelling
• (Bonus) Mentor or oversee junior designers/contractors as needed
• Leverage AI tools and design co-pilots to enhance speed and quality of work

Skills & Qualifications

• Mastery of Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools (e.g., Principle, Framer)
• Deep knowledge of user-centered design principles, design systems, and usability practices
• Strong portfolio showcasing cross-platform (web + mobile) digital product design
• Ability to thrive in high-ambiguity, low-structure environments and manage multiple projects
• Strong collaboration, communication, and storytelling skills
• (Preferred) Experience working in startups, venture studios, or product incubation teams
