Role Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Frontend Engineer to help build intuitive, high-quality web platforms for teachers, students, and parents. In this role, you will work closely with curriculum experts, educators, designers, and engineers to design, develop, and deploy scalable frontend solutions. You will also have the unique opportunity to user-test products in real school environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-quality web applications
- Build reusable, scalable frontend components using modern JavaScript frameworks
- Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and education experts to deliver impactful features
- Optimize applications for performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
- Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for frontend engineering
- Test and iterate on product features based on real user feedback from schools
Skills and Qualifications:
Must Have:
- Strong proficiency in ES6, HTML5, and CSS3
- Hands-on experience with React and Redux
- Familiarity with Git basics and version control workflows
- Strong debugging skills using Chrome DevTools
Good to Have:
- Working knowledge of GraphQL and Apollo Server/Client
- Experience with Node.js, Express, and SQL-based databases
- Familiarity with Webpack and modern build tools
