Eligibility:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 3+ years of experience in Business Finance
- Prior experience in the e-commerce sector is highly preferred
- Strong foundation in financial analysis, budgeting, MIS, P&L, and working capital management
- Experience with reconciliation on third-party platforms (e.g., Amazon, marketplaces)
- Proficient in advanced Excel, financial modeling, and strategic data analysis
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and multi-stakeholder management skills
Role Overview:
As a Business Finance Manager, you will lead financial planning and analysis, commercial negotiations, investor reporting, budgeting, and operational finance for the company. You will be responsible for enabling data-driven decision-making across teams, optimizing cash flow, tracking key business metrics, and driving efficiency across finance operations—especially for third-party e-commerce marketplaces. You’ll also contribute to audits, fundraising, and internal financial systems development.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Finance:
- Conduct financial analysis for strategic decisions (e.g., forecasting, cost control, profitability)
- Lead commercial negotiations and build business cases for fundraising/investment
- Track key metrics and manage MIS reporting for senior leadership
- Build and execute bottom-up budgets and annual operating plans (AOP)
- Manage working capital and drive process improvements/automation
- Partner on fundraising, due diligence, and financial modeling
Business Analysis & Reporting:
- Drive MIS, investor, and flash reporting—analyzing payables, fixed costs, margins
- Own and report cash conversion cycle, optimize burn rate, and cost structures
- Define and track P&L-relevant business metrics across functions
- Guide team on data-driven analysis to uncover business insights
- Lead cash flow management, payment term analysis, and reporting frameworks
Other Responsibilities:
- Manage P&L and receivables from 3rd-party platforms (Amazon, etc.)
- Support audit, due diligence, and financing rounds
- Drive improvements in internal finance tools in collaboration with product/tech teams
- Lead receivables management and reconciliation across internal/external platforms
Skills and Qualifications:
Must-Have:
- CA with minimum 3 years of experience, preferably in e-commerce
- Advanced Excel, strong forecasting, and analytical skills
- Knowledge of P&L, balance sheets, cash flow, and financial reporting
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to work in high-volume, high-speed, and ambiguous environments
- High attention to detail and process-driven mindset
Preferred:
- Experience working with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Amazon, Flipkart)
- Exposure to financial systems development and reconciliation
