Role Overview
As an IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and first-level support of enterprise systems, networks, and job scheduling tools. You will manage daily operational tasks, respond to alerts, and coordinate with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure uninterrupted service availability.
This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, technically curious, and eager to grow within IT infrastructure operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor system and network alerts using enterprise monitoring tools
- Manage and troubleshoot issues related to SolarWinds, Tidal job scheduling, and related automation workflows
- Perform L1 troubleshooting for network, server, and infrastructure incidents
- Support Windows patching activities and coordinate with relevant teams
- Perform day-to-day operational support, including incident management, ticket handling, and problem resolution
- Conduct initial impact and risk analysis for alerts and escalate as necessary
Skills and Qualifications
Core Technical Skills
- Solid hands-on experience with SolarWinds monitoring
- Experience with Tidal job scheduling tool
- Strong understanding of monitoring concepts, alert categories, and escalation workflows
- Basic knowledge of Windows servers, backup tools, and storage systems
- Experience with Windows patching and basic system administration
- Ability to perform L1 network troubleshooting (ping, traceroute, basic network checks)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and incident-handling abilities
