Role Overview
The Business Analyst – Sales Strategy & CRM will play a critical role in supporting management and business strategy teams by providing actionable insights through market research, sales performance analysis, CRM data management, and financial modeling. The role involves working closely with sales and business teams to optimize performance, track key metrics, and enable data-driven decision-making to drive both organic and inorganic growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with management and strategy teams to analyze, prepare, and summarize business insights for Sales, Products, New Initiatives, and Growth.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor dynamics.
- Build business and financial models to evaluate the impact of strategic initiatives on company performance.
- Analyze sales data (historical performance, funnel stages, revenue, DLT data, traffic reports) to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Create reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate performance metrics with management and sales teams.
- Track and monitor sales funnels weekly and measure target versus achievement at both product and team levels.
- Ensure effective use of the CRM system for lead, opportunity, and pipeline tracking; resolve team queries and manage system access.
- Act as a liaison between sales and cross-functional teams for the smooth execution of initiatives.
- Support sales teams with relevant data and performance insights to help achieve sales targets.
- Promote best practices in data reporting, analysis, and CRM usage across business teams.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Business, Sales, Finance, or related field.
- 3–4 years of proven experience in data analysis, sales performance analysis, or business strategy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Excel, Tableau/Power BI, Salesforce/CRM systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
- Highly organized with strong multitasking and deadline management abilities.
- Prior experience with CRM platforms and funnel performance tracking is a plus.
