Job Title: QA Engineer – Manual Testing (API & Microservices)

Eligibility:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Or equivalent work experience in software quality assurance

Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer with a strong foundation in manual testing, particularly focused on SaaS-based microservices and API testing. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and data engineers, to deliver high-quality software products through meticulous testing and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to understand functional requirements
• Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test plans and test cases
• Identify, log, and track defects using industry-standard tools
• Ensure clarity and completeness in issues/tickets raised

Skills and Qualifications:

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in software QA with a focus on manual testing
• Strong experience in SaaS product testing, especially microservices and API testing
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, etc.)
• Defect management
• Working knowledge of SQL and MongoDB (preferred)
• Familiar with Git and CI/CD pipelines
• Good understanding of software testing principles and agile methodologies
