Eligibility:

  • 1–2 years of experience designing for web and mobile platforms
  • Proficient in Figma
  • Experience in SaaS or B2B product design is a strong plus
  • Excellent organizational, collaboration, and communication skills

Role Overview:

As a Product Designer, you’ll contribute to building world-class user experiences for educators, students, and their families. You’ll take ownership of features across multiple platforms, from problem discovery to polished UI, while collaborating closely with product, engineering, and user research teams. Your work will help define the user journey across the suite of apps and contribute to innovation in the education sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learn product strategy, design tools, and systems
  • Understand the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework and how it informs product decisions
  • Build cross-functional relationships across design, product, curriculum, and engineering teams
  • Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback
  • Explore the Web, Educator, Family, and Student apps to understand existing UX patterns and opportunities
  • Engage in user research by visiting schools and interacting with educators and leadership

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of the product design lifecycle: research, wireframing, prototyping, UI design, testing
  • Ability to create detailed storyboards, wireframes, and interactive prototypes
  • Excellent visual and interaction design skills
  • Strong UX instincts with a user-first mindset
  • Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Research)
  • Passionate about education and improving teaching and learning through design
  • Open-minded, curious, and always eager to learn new methods or tools
