Role Overview:
The Manager I, Training is responsible for implementing and overseeing training processes to ensure effective workforce preparation for client and Concentrix programs. The role involves managing training staff, delivering engaging learning solutions using adult learning principles, ensuring program effectiveness, and fostering strong partnerships with clients, operations, and resource units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage training staff, including recruitment, development, coaching, and performance management.
- Oversee and execute new hire training, continuing education, and program-specific learning initiatives.
- Plan and allocate training resources, track effectiveness, and manage trainer attrition.
- Deliver and facilitate classroom training using creative adult learning methodologies.
- Ensure consistent communication and collaboration with clients, operations, and resource units.
- Conduct classroom observations, provide mentoring, and guide trainers for continuous performance improvement.
- Monitor learner progress, attendance, and readiness for production, offering coaching and developmental feedback.
- Manage daily training administration, including data tracking, timekeeping, and reporting.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships across business units to drive continuous improvement and cost optimization.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Mandatory:
- 6+ years of training/facilitation experience with at least 3 years in a leadership/managerial role.
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Expertise in adult learning and accelerated learning methodologies.
- Team leadership and performance management skills.
- Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Preferred/Desired:
- Experience in the BPO/Customer Engagement industry.
- Knowledge of multiple training delivery modalities (virtual/classroom).
- Client-facing stakeholder management experience.
- Ability to monitor and measure training effectiveness.
- Graduate/Postgraduate in HR, Education, Business Management, or related field
