Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Staff Engineer – Optimization & Simulation Specialist to join our dynamic team at Nagarro. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement cutting-edge optimization and simulation solutions for complex supply chain challenges. You will leverage advanced data analytics, AI/ML, and digital supply chain platforms to drive efficiency, scalability, and innovation across various industries, including FMCG, CPG, Automotive, and Discrete Manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse client requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Design, architect, and implement optimization and simulation frameworks for supply chain processes.
• Define technologies, tools, and frameworks aligned with business needs.
• Coordinate requirements, schedules, and development activities across teams.
• Lead/support UAT and production rollouts for supply chain solutions.
• Create and validate the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and effort estimations.
• Troubleshoot, resolve complex issues, and ensure quality standards.
• Drive POCs to evaluate and validate technologies, solvers, and methodologies.
• Provide mentorship, feedback, and leadership to team members.
• Collaborate with global teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong expertise in supply chain analytics, modeling, and data analysis.
• Hands-on experience with optimization tools: Llamasoft, Optilogic, AIMMS, Anylogistix.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for data extraction, modeling, and analysis.
• Strong experience with optimization solvers (Gurobi, CPLEX, AIMMS) and simulation tools.
• Proficiency in BI & visualization tools: Power BI, Tableau, Excel.
• Knowledge of machine learning, advanced forecasting, and simulation methodologies.
• Familiarity with S&OP/IBP processes and digital supply chain transformation.
• Cloud expertise: AWS, Azure, GCP for scalable deployments.
• Experience with machine learning libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow).
• Strong consulting and integration background across global projects.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
