Eligibility:

  • 2–3 years of experience in English–Spanish translations
  • Spanish language proficiency at the C1/C2 level
  • Strong understanding of dialectical differences and regional nuances
  • Experience in SaaS/startups (preferred)
  • Background in IB schools (instructor, coordinator, or admin) is a plus
  • Strong business writing and copy-editing skills
  • Familiarity with translation tools like Weblate, Weglot, and Lokalise (a plus)
  • High attention to detail and quality

Role Overview:

As a Spanish Language Specialist, you will be responsible for translating, localizing, proofreading, and managing Spanish content across the company's products and communication channels. Your work will ensure that Spanish-speaking educators, students, and families worldwide receive accurate, culturally appropriate, and high-quality language experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurate Translation: Translate content between English and Spanish with fluency, accuracy, and attention to tone
  • Localization: Tailor translations for different Spanish-speaking regions, considering cultural and contextual nuances
  • Proofreading & Editing: Review content for grammar, consistency, and style alignment
  • Project Management: Handle multiple translation projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain quality standards

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Spanish proficiency at C1/C2 level
  • Strong command of grammar, spelling, and punctuation in both English and Spanish
  • Excellent communication and business writing skills
  • Familiarity with translation management tools (Weblate, Weglot, Lokalise, etc.)
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments (SaaS or startups preferred)
  • Ability to handle feedback constructively and contribute to ongoing process improvement
  • Highly organized, self-driven, and collaborative
