Eligibility:

• B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or a related field
• 1–3 years of backend development experience (SaaS experience preferred)
• Proficiency in Node.js, Express, GraphQL, and JWT
• Experience writing and optimizing SQL queries
• Familiarity with Git and basic scripting

Role Overview:

As a Backend Engineer, you will contribute to building robust, scalable, and secure web platforms that serve teachers, students, and parents. You will work closely with educators, curriculum experts, and the product team to deliver and test features in real school environments. This is a full-stack team where backend developers influence product decisions, contribute to system design, and ensure performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop backend components using Node.js, Express, and GraphQL
• Build secure authentication and authorization systems with JWT
• Write and optimize efficient SQL queries
• Collaborate with product, design, and frontend teams to integrate APIs
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes
• Contribute to improving backend architecture and performance

Skills and Qualifications:

Must Have:

• Proficiency in:
• Node.js, Express, GraphQL, JWT
• SQL query writing and optimization
• Git basics and basic scripting

Good to Have:

• Experience with AWS, CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on with PostgreSQL
• Strong communication and design sense
• Empathy towards users and team members
