Eligibility: Candidates with proven experience in BI architecture, SQL, ETL, and data engineering, with strong expertise in Power BI, Tableau, and cloud technologies.

Role Overview

As a Data Engineering Lead – BI Analytics & DWH, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing enterprise-grade Business Intelligence solutions that empower data-driven decision-making across the organization. Leveraging your expertise in BI tools, data modeling, ETL processes, and cloud platforms, you will drive scalable architecture, interactive dashboards, and optimized performance. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent technical skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Integration: Oversee ETL processes using SSIS and other tools to ensure efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading into data warehouses.
  • Data Modeling: Design and maintain robust data models that support analytics and visualization.
  • Database Management: Develop and manage complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and transformations using joins and cursors.
  • Visualization Development: Lead the creation of interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI and Tableau, following best practices.
  • Collaboration: Translate stakeholder requirements into scalable architecture and actionable technical specifications.
  • Performance Optimization: Analyse and optimize BI and DWH solutions for scalability, speed, and reliability.
  • Data Governance: Implement best practices for data quality, compliance, and governance.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide BI developers and analysts, fostering knowledge-sharing and innovation.
  • Cloud & Big Data: Leverage Azure Databricks and other cloud-based tools for advanced data processing and analytics.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.
  • 6–12 years of experience in BI architecture and development.
  • Expertise in Power BI and Tableau (additional experience with QuickSight, Plotly, Dash a plus).
  • Proven experience with ETL processes and SSIS.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL Server and advanced query optimization.
  • Experience in exploratory data analysis using Python.
  • Familiarity with CRISP-DM methodology.
  • Hands-on experience with data models, data warehouses (Snowflake, Postgres, Redshift, MongoDB).
  • Programming expertise in Python
