Eligibility: Master’s/Ph.D. in Mathematics / Applied Mathematics / related field; teaching or mentoring experience in B.Tech (Computer Science) programs preferred

Role Overview:

Deliver high-quality Mathematics instruction for B.Tech Computer Science students, integrating core mathematical concepts with computer science applications (AI, Data Science, Algorithms). Mentor students, design curriculum, manage labs, and drive academic excellence and research culture at Newton School of Technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Course Development & Delivery: Design and deliver lectures, tutorials, and lab sessions in Mathematics.
• Subject Expertise: Teach Linear Algebra, Advanced Calculus, Probability & Statistics, Discrete Mathematics, Optimization, and Mathematical Foundations for CS.
• Integration with CS Applications: Connect Math with AI, Data Science, Algorithms, and Optimization problems.
• Student Mentorship: Guide projects, competitions, research, and ensure academic growth.
• Curriculum Development: Collaborate with faculty and industry experts to enhance content.
• Lab Management: Conduct and supervise hands-on coding/math lab sessions.
• Research & Innovation: Encourage cutting-edge research and academic-industry collaboration.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Work with administrators and Newton School representatives to drive innovation.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong foundation in Linear Algebra, Calculus, Probability, Statistics, Discrete Math, Optimization.
• Experience teaching/mentoring B.Tech Computer Science students.
• Curriculum design & modern pedagogy experience.
• Ability to link Mathematics with CS domains (AI/ML, Data Science, Algorithms).
• Excellent communication, engagement, and mentorship skills.
• Good to have: Exposure to GeoGebra, Desmos, MATLAB, Python; prior UG/PG teaching experience; research/publication track record.
