Role Overview:

The Area Collections Head will lead and manage the collections team to ensure timely recovery of outstanding loans while minimizing delinquencies and maintaining customer satisfaction. The role involves strategic planning, performance optimization, and close collaboration with regional and cross-functional teams to enhance collection efficiency and reduce risk.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement area-specific collection strategies to meet targets and reduce delinquencies.

• Lead, mentor, and motivate the collections team to ensure adherence to company standards and policies.

• Monitor and analyze collections KPIs, preparing periodic performance reports.

• Collaborate with regional managers, credit, and operations teams to address collection challenges.

• Conduct field visits to assess ground operations, agent performance, and customer engagement.

• Handle escalated cases and customer disputes with professionalism and tact.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and stay informed of industry trends impacting collections.

Proven expertise in collections and credit recovery, strong leadership and team management skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making, proficiency in handling pressure and meeting deadlines, and customer-centric approach with deep understanding of credit risk and recovery processes.
